Energy Systems’ centralized service is produced in highly-efficient large-scale industrial plants. Such production protects our environment in the following ways:

• The number of smokestacks and cooling towers in Downtown Omaha is reduced, enhancing overall air quality across the region – and enhancing the aesthetic appearance of the Downtown Omaha skyline.
• Emissions at Energy Systems’ facilities are rigidly monitored and controlled to reduce air and water pollution.
• The high-efficiency at Energy Systems’ facilities allows for lesser energy consumption for a particular heating or cooling thermal energy load. Less energy consumption for a particular load translates into less greenhouse gas emissions and less global warming.
• Refrigerants utilized at Energy Systems’ facilities are rigidly monitored and controlled to prevent emission of ozone-depleting chemicals.
